Large conference rooms and auditorium

The downtown library needs conference facilities including an auditorium, multipurpose rooms, and meeting rooms.

  4. Placing such a space on the ground floor and near an entrance would maximize its physical accessibility. Design it to allow internal walls/dividers, stage, and furniture placement to be modified as needed. Carpet tiles should be used instead of large rolls; using tiles makes damage much easier/cheaper to repair, and would make it easy to cover anchor bolt-holes (as might be used for row seating or modular stages) when not in use.
